In the early 1980's I saw a band called The Illusionz a number of times at Angies in Wokingham and once Upstairs at Ronnie Scotts in London. They were an excellent band, however a search of the web only produces loads of stuff about magic acts. Does anyone know where they went, what happened to them, etc. Click Here for Feedback
The Band were Steve (guitar and vocals), Micheal (bass and vocals) and Paul (drums)

They produced a 4 song demo tape: • Out of the Storm (mp3 2.4mb) • Will it be the Same (mp3 2.4mb) • Rise Up (mp3 2.3mb) • Dancin The latter track was a cover of Dancin in the Streets - They predated the
Mick Jagger/David Bowies version by a few months |
| Somehow I managed not to get a picture of Steve (sorry, must have been drunk) | |
From what I recall Steve and Micheal came from Detroit and Paul from Rhyl. Micheal also played in a jazz/rock combo who's name I forget at the moment.
